This post is an A-Z of the different deeds of Elon Musk. It will be constantly updated.
Antisemitism
Musk tweeted antisemitic stuff, and has insisted that George Soros is “destroying Western civilisation”.
His antisemitic and pro-Apartheid grandfather was the leader of a lunatic Technocratic Party, and gave people numbers, much like Elon did to his children. He later moved to Apartheid South Africa, where Elon grew up.
Bostrom and Effective Altruism
Musk, who’ grandfather was a racist, funded the so called Father of Humanity Foundation of Nick Bostrom. Bostrom became infamous for publicly stating that blacks are more stupid than whites. “I like that sentence and I think it is true.” - he said. He was also worried that more stupid “negros” will outpopulate the cleverer whites. Bostrom then apologised for “coming across as racist”.
Bostrom also suggested that all of humanity should wear a “freedom tag”, a device that records out entire life from the cradle to the grave.
Musk also called MacAskill’s (author of Doing Good Better) theories a ‘close match’ to his own. MacAskill had said plane travel or waste are simply not that great a deal. Musk, Peter Thiel and Sam Bankman-Fried all became devotees of effective altruism.
In 2011 MacAskill founded the Centre for Effective Altruism with $46bn mostly from crypto and tech entrepreneurs. They purchased Wytham Abbey, a palatial 25-acre Tudor era estate just outside of Oxford. The organisation gradually seemed to become more important than the causes. MacAskill writes in his book What We Owe to the Furure: “History is littered with people doing bad things while believing they were doing good. We should do our utmost to avoid being one of them”. The dinner for the book launch was organised and hosted by now convicted fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried.
Captured state
Musk contributed $277 million to the campaign of Donald Trump, and his Republican candidates. In exchange, he received two things.
One, he was appointed to head the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is expected to cut $2trn from the $7trn federal budget, which experts say is unrealistic. Musk, who is infamous for fighting battles against government agencies that want to keep him at bay, on issues ranging from discrimination and environmental protection to violations of labor legislation. He will now get to control and even eliminate the same government agencies. Plus his companies are dependent on government contracts. SpaceX, for instance, recently signed a confidential contract with the US National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) worth $1.8 billion. Massive conflict of interest.
Two, there is the share price of his companies. On November 6, just one day after Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential elections, Elon Musk, the world's richest person, became US$26.5 billion richer. A week after the elections, in addition to the sum immediately added to Musk’s pocket—whose company's shares have risen by 65% since then—he saw his fortune increase by US$70 billion. A month later, on December 11, the world's richest man became the first billionaire to reach the US$400 billion mark, according to Bloomberg. But even this unprecedented figure has also been surpassed: Musk's wealth is estimated at US$486 billion. All this for an initial investment of 277 million.
In any other country this would be corruption. The phenomenon of the captured state.
China
Elon has a gigafactory in Shanghai, so he never criticises China. Apparently his commitment to freedom of speech does no reach that far.
Emotional Intelligence
Musk claimed empathy was the major weakness of the Western world.
Fertilising anyone
Musk said he would be ready to fertilise anyone who would be willing to raise a large family. Musk - who theoretically sleeps behind his work desk, because he is so hard working - has bought three chateaus in Texas for this purpose, and a huge estate behind it. Musk’s father - whom he claims to hate - also had had seven children from three different women. Musk claims he has never met some of his siblings.
While Musk’s wife (Grimes) was pregnant with their child, another woman (Zilis) impregnated with Musk’s sperms was also lying pregnant in the same hospital. Musk reportedly gave their chosen name of their child to Zilis, making the singer Grimes upset. Musk is better at making children than raising them: Musk and Grimes are now engaged in a court battle.
Hyperloop
Musk announced a super fast means of transportation, and underground tunnel that would work based on vacuum. This just never happened. This was just another one of his cons.
Mars colonisation
Elon Musk has said, “Either we spread Earth to other planets, or we risk going extinct.” SPace experts emphasise that the colonisation of Mars is an unviable and unnecessary project. If Musk really wanted to save humanity, he would not focus his efforts on saving the few thousand people he would send to Mars, but on saving humanity (8 billion people, soon to grow to 11 billion) here on Earth.
Nazi salute
Elon Musk gave a nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration. He later explained that he was only throwing his heart out to the audience, but noone shares their heart with a nazi salute.
Neuralink
The company’s R1 robot drills a hole in your skull, and implants an N1 chip. The process of stabbing 64 wired into your brain then only takes 15 minutes.
Overpopulation
Musk has repeatedly expressed his view that underpopulation is humanity’s number one problem. “If there aren’t enough people for Earth, then there definitely won’t be enough for Mars.” Science comes to exactly the opposite conclusion: overpopulation is the real problem. If we were to feed humanity without artificial fertilisers, the production of which is highly greenhouse gas emmittive, we would be able to feed about 3-4 billion people, and no more.
Space X
A project of questionable rationality. The US state contributed heavily towards its creation, and is continuously dependent on state contracts.
Starlink
In March of 2025 Musk blackmailed Ukrainians by saying he would be able to collapse the Ukranian war effort by denying them Starlink. Which is exactly the reason why an unelected oligarch should not have so much power in his hands. When Polish foreign minister Sikorky stated that Poland might switch to an alternative from Starlink, Musk tweeted back to him: “Shut up, little man!”.
Spies
Elon sues private detectives to spy on his employees and his family. His commitment to freedom of speech does not include employees.
Tesla
Musk had used bot armies to boost the share price of Tesla.
Trump
Elon and trump used to hate each other. Then they became friends when Trump needed money and Elon needed protectionism.
Twitter - X
He bought it and then ran it into the ground.
He reposted racist stuff.
He railed against advertisers leaving Twitter.
